What our customer's say!
"Comfortable lap desk", The bean bag bottom contours itself to your legs, so the top stays level even when your legs are crossed. I use this constantly.
"can still feel laptop heat", I bought the desk mat for my daughter in college. She told me she likes it, although heat comes through the pad. She still uses it everyday and says provides good stability.
"horrible quality", This is only the third lap desk I've ever owned in my lifetime, and the first two each gave me a dozen years of good service with almost everyday use. Point being? I am not hard on lap desks. This one, though it is still intact, is developing problems after fewer than six months that make me rather sure it isn't long for this world, and considering it was $[...] for a bean-bag style lap desk, I would call this a major disappointment.
"Not AT all what I expected!", Top of desk is a really flimsy leather-like material that flexes very easily. After light use for a few days the desk top started to warp and mishape. The cusion is just held on by velcro, not very good quality at all. Very dissapointed by this product.
"Bought Three so far - get one", I got one for myself for when I work at home and took it to my mom's when I went to visit. She stole it and wouldn't let me take it home so I got another one. Then I bought my best friend one when she got her new laptop. The desk is wide enough for my large 19" laptop and an external mouse although there isn't a lot of spare room. When I use my much smaller work computer it is PERFECT. Really helps keep your legs from getting hot and I even use it to eat meals and write on when I need it. The bottom pad is detachable and my one tiny complaint would be that if you don't put it back on right the Velcro bits poke you if you're legs are bare. That's easy enough to fix so not worth a downgrade. I'd recommend this to anyone who wants a reasonably priced nice looking lap desk.

"Not Rigid enough", The "top" is so flimsy it just warped under the weight of my laptop, preventing airflow to my air intakes. I would not recommend this item.
"Good idea but the mat warps", I bought this item based on the mostly good reviews it got. I really like the design and the bean bag works really well to keep it on your lap. The faux leather covering is nonslip and does a good job keeping my laptop on. I have a 17" macbook pro and it has plenty of room on there. BUT, after only a week the board has warped and my laptop no longer sits flat. I suppose it's from the heat off my laptop but wasn't that the whole point??? I"ll have to try putting some heavy books on it to see if it fixes itself.
"Good size, but could be larger.", This does fit my 17" but there is no space left for a mouse. A smaller laptop would get the user plenty of mouse space. This item also works great with a laptop cooler.
"So Functional. Great item.", I love this little guy. At first after having read a couple reviews indicating that the pad has some "give" to it, I wondered if this would be a problem, but as it turns out it's not at all. I currently keep a laptop cooler underneath my laptop, so the total weight of both combined is a few pounds. That said, they both rest comfortably on this pad which rests comfortably on my lap while I sit in my recliner. When I get up, grasping the pad by the left and right ends, I feel a very small amount of "give", but nothing to compromise the strength of the pad overall. I have found the bean bags on bottom to be very comfortable. Combined, they cover about 90% of the bottom surface of the pad. When this item first arrived, I wondered if it was a bit larger than what I wanted, but now I'm glad it's got a bit of extra real estate to it. There is some space if I ever want to place an item (or a mouse) on the side, which I now see as a plus. In theory it would have been nice if there were a pencil stop bar on the pad, but in practise I would rarely if ever use such a thing, so that's no big loss. I do like the way the unit is indented on the portion facing your body, allowing it to contour to you rather than stick into you. In all, I'm very please with this item.
"Just what I was looking for", This is a great lap desk. I'm on my computer a lot, and usually it's balancing on an unwieldy pillow or burning up my lap. I had considered another product, but I didn't want a built-in wrist rest. I just wanted a simple tray with a bean bag pillow. This desk is very comfortable and lightweight. Even without the cooling pad, the computer doesn't feel hot. And as someone else pointed out, the computer adheres surprisingly well to the faux leather deskstop.
