What our customer's say!
"Accurate but small scale, even for large envelopes!", I have been using this scale for 2 months and it has given me some problems. I used 8 x 10 envelopes for shipping and the envelopes will not stay still when i use the envelope holder on this scale. The envelope just falls down every time i try to weigh it. Another problem is that when i put the envelope flat it covers the digital screen where it tells you the weight. Their are way better scales out their for the price and i'm very disappointed in this one. The only good thing about this scale is that it is accurate on weight. Lastly it took 1 month to receive this scale and i have no idea why so just be aware!
"Received merchandise FAST! Thanks!", Works as I anticipated. Nice to have the electric outlet component vs. just battery operated.
"Great value", We ship out small packages containing books & DVDs. Having this scale saves us trips to the post office. Excellent value for the price.
"Great compact product!", My previous scale had a "lifetime" battery, I learned that means about 5 years. I purchased this scale because of the description and other reviews. It is nice for many reasons. It is compact so it can be left out and not take up much room or it can easily be stored in a small place. I love the 'hold' button which allows you to put a large box on the platform, weigh the item and when you remove the item the actual weight remains on the screen for you to see. It does have an envelope flap so you can weigh envelopes laying flat or standing up. When I first purchased it, I weighed 2 different envelopes that were questionable by .1 ounce (at the post office if your package goes over by .1 ounce you need to round up which can add up in postal fees). The post office confirmed the weight that the scale gave to me so I knew it was reading accurately ~ that sure was nice to know! No one wants a customer to receive a package that has to be picked up the post office because they owe extra postal fees. I also love the fact that it has a power cord that comes with it so no more batteries AND I did not have to purchase the power adaptor separately ~ it was all in the same box! Overall I would recommend this to anyone that would require a scale that weighs objects upto 10 pounds. If you own a business, it would depend on how heavy your objects are going to be! I cannot tell you how long it will read accurately over time or how long it will last, but right now I am very pleased with it.
"Great product", Works great, even smaller than I thought but that's good - the display stays lit after you remove the package so you can use it for larger packages as well.

"USPS PS-100 Postage Scale", Scale works fine for its small size. Not suitable for larger envelopes that are heavy.
"Great scale - WHEN IT WORKS - Update 04/01/10", I got this scale from USPS for my home business. I use it to weigh light packages that are usually 2 lbs or less. The thing is great, but it only works when it feels like it. I have not transported it anywhere so I haven't tossed it around. It's just a cheaply made scale, and USPS doesn't allow returns.
UPDATE:
I contacted Measurement Ltd.,the company that makes this scale for the USPS in reference to the issues I was having with this scale. My e-mail was returned within a couple of hours and the representative told me to box it up and send it to them with a description of the problem. About two weeks later, a brand new scale arrived at my door with no hassle from the company. This one seems to work better than the previous one ever did and is much faster to power up. My original rating was 2 stars, but I have now changed it to 4 stars because of the company's willingness to stand behind its product. I'm very glad they did because I really want to love this scale. It allows you to switch between different measurements (kg, lbs, ounces, grams) and is a great size considering that it will weigh packages up to 10 lbs. Add in the option to use 110v power or 3 "AA" batteries, and this one is a winner - providing it continues to work.
"Good choice", I wanted to be able to have a correct weight on the packages I mail, so purchased this scale as I had seen the exact same one for sale at the Post Office only the price was $10.00 more than I paid for it here. Am very happy with the way it works and use it several times a week.
"Postal Scale", I recently purchased a USPS PS-100 postal scale through Amazon since I have a fair amount of business mail going out from my home. I also bought a Dymo Stamp machine so now I can weigh my large envelopes and put the right amount of postage on it from my home. I don't even have to make a trip to the post office. And it doesn't cost me any more for postage, except for the additional cost of the labels which is minimal compared to gas saved going to the post office. I rate the postal scale a 5.
"Excellent Little Scale that is Dead On!", I bought this scale because I am selling quite a bit on eBay nowadays and this saves me a lot of time. I'm not having to run to the post office every few days to get my packages weighed. This same scale is on the official [...] website but they have it for $34.99, where as I got it for [...] here on Amazon. I was a little skeptic at first as to whether I should order this particular scale or not, dut to the various "bad" reviews. All I can say is that I'm so glad I got it. This scale has the ability to weigh items up to 10 lbs, which is plenty enough for me. Ten pounds may not sound like a lot, but you will be surprised. To test the scales accuracy on heavier items, I compared it a weight measurement that I got from the post office. The weight the post office gave me was 5 lbs and 15.1 ounces, and this scaled matched it dead on. Then I read somewhere on here that five U.S. quarters were supposed to weigh exactly one ounce, and guess what, it was dead on again. I am very pleased with my purchase and I have already gotten a lot of use out of this item. It's also kind of fun just to randomly weigh some little things you got lying around a house. I tried weighing a envelope, and it actually picked it up as .1 ounce. You can't get any better than that. The supplied AC adaptor works perfectly and has a very long cord. I believe this scale will run on some batteries as well, but I haven't tested this part of it yet. It also has a flip up tray that will keep odd shaped letters/packages on the scale without tipping over, which is very handy. The hold function works just as described, and so does the tare function. All-in-all, this little scale has an excellent price tag, and does exactly what it's meant to do. I recommend this product to anyone. You won't be disappointed.
