"Misrepresented"
I am disappointed because this scale combo has been misrepresented. It states a 100 gram calibration weight is included and it wasn't. I can't wait a month for the turnaround of a return and refund, so I guess I get to eat it since they won't just send the calibration weight to me that THEY DID NOT INCLUDE. Give me what I paid for!!!!!

I scoured the internet for the most inexpensive 100-gram scale with the best possible reviews, and this is it. Consider this review your due diligence on price differentials.

First of all, shipping was lightning quick. It took three days for the scale to get here, four days before the lower end of Amazon's estimated shipping period. When I got the scale, I found that the 100g calibration weight vindicated my decision entirely. How is one to know if the scale he bought works at all if there is no standard from which to measure? The 100g weight provides peace of mind that most other ads on here don't provide. You can come to your own conclusions about that.

The scale itself was sleek, spotless, and expensive-looking. The digital read-out looks great and will always comes within .01 grams of whatever you're measuring. The directions for use are idiot proof. The scale itself weighs very little. And like I said, the most important aspect of this scale is the price. You can buy a lot of scales on ebay or Amazon but this ad simply is the most inexpensive option that will work guaranteed. Other ads offer similar items at higher prices, some ads offer lower prices without a calibration weight or any reviews whatsoever. When you factor in the free $5 calibration weight and the peace of mind, this is the best product.

Good little enexpensive scale. Very accurate to .01 grams. 100 gram capacity. Used this for a science fair project. Worked great.!!

"Great product"
This scale is perfect!!!! I use it to weigh many things, and the precision is just amazing. I love getting my measurements to the .01g etc... Also know that this scale is not meant to be thrown around and put in your pocket, though it can be. I just keep it on my desk to keep it from being inaccurate. Pretty big, nice lcd screen. Also know it only weights up to a hundred (100) grams so DONT try to weigh out pounds of things, as this could mess it up.....and comes with a nice little calibration weight. Haven't used the calibration thing yet but am positive it is accurate. Lastly this is a very well built solid accurate scale, and will buy more if needed.

"precise and convenient"
This seems to do the job. Accurate as long as on a flat surface. Calibration weight is useful, I used it to check my other scales.

"worthless to me", I have no idea if this product worked or not. It was delivered in a timely manner, but worthless due to the fact that it did not include the promised calibration weight. I sent it back and hesitate to order anything again from amazon.

"RIPPED OFF!!!", Never received the 100 gram calibration weight, even after complaining. A RIPPOFF!!! Never will use Amazon again!

"My phono scale", Cool little scale,I use to measure my phono needle pressure.Supposedly accurate to .01 grams.Very cool,at a nice price.

"Bait & switch", First, although the item arrived within the estimated period (barely), it was one of the slowest deliveries I've ever had on an Amazon purchase.

Then, as others here have written, there was no calibration weight included. No space for it in the package, no separate package, no indication that it should have been included. When contacted, Amazon said it could not rectify this by sending me the weight; the seller had apparently changed its policy without changing its listing.

Last, the batteries were already set in the active battery compartment without a separator between them and the contacts, and thus they were DOA.

All around one of the worst purchasing experiences I've had with Amazon, but it's all on the store that listed these scales, Potential Dynamix. I returned the item, got a refund approved, ordered a Polder scale directly from Amazon and received it within three business days. My recommendation: avoid Potential Dynamix and its false advertising.

"Short lived", Worked great- for about a year. Then the scale started to miscalculate the weight, causing returned mail and postage due. After about 2 years, the scale weighed a 5 lb bag of sugar at 4 lbs. You get what you pay for.

"No Calibration Weight", As far as I can tell this is a good scale but was disappointed that the calibration weight that was promised did not come with the scale. Difficult to know how good the scale is until I can find something to calibrate it with.

"Fair value for the price", I am using this scale to measure gunpowder for reloading ammo. I find the LED display hard to read unless directly over the scale. The scale seems to favor certain readings and I don't have a lot of confidence that it is weighing accurately. I will be purchasing an MTM for about $40. You get what you pay for.

"Love this scale!", I got this inexpensive gram scale to weigh out small amounts of spices for my European sausage recipes. So far, it has been absolutely great! I'm happy with my purchase.

"Not Quite What I Thougt It Was", This is a very nice little digital scale. Unfortunately, though advertised as measuring in GRAINS, the scale did not offer that unit of measure. The seller stated that there was a mixup in the listing and quickly refunded my money. I rated the scale with 2 stars only because it did not live up to what was in the listing; I did not have any real problems with the scale except that it didn't offer the units I needed it for.

"best bang for your buck", The scales work very well, and to include the 100 gram calibration weight, it's hard to beat that deal. The shipping was also very fast, I think it took only 3 days after I paid for it, it was here. THE ONLY BAD THING I CAN SAY ABOUT THIS SET IS IT SHOULD HAVE COME WITH OR HAVE THE ABILITY TO USE THE COVER AS A TRAY, AS THE SCALES ARE VERY SMALL, BUT!!, I USE THE BOX IT CAME IN, JUST PUT THE BOX ON THE SCALE, TURN IT ON AND IT CALIBRATES BY SUBTRACTING THE WEIGHT OF THE BOX, AND WITH THE 100 G weight in the middle of the scale, it's always at 99.99 or 100.00. When dealing with .01, hundredths of a gram, you must put the weight in the center of the scale to get it to read 100.00, but they are so accurate, out of the 15 tests I have thrown at it, it's always with in .01 of the actual weight. The times it was .01 off, it must have rounded the .001 or thousandth to what it is set for. I am very pleased with this item and would recommend it to anyone needing to weigh something, and have it be 100% accurate, great product, easy to use, and just can't beat the price for the quality and performance you get with it. THEY ROCK!!!!!!!
